-=* A Princess for Me *=-

She danced her life on tiny wings,

With elfin grace she flew.

I watched her pirouette each night,

Through mirrors of white and blue.

Her touch was never less than soft,

Her voice a silver bell.

And with her words she cast upon

my life a learning spell.

I learned I could not capture her,

No prison could I make.

Nor could I offer anything,

That she might care to take.

So now I come to see her dance,

Until the night is done.

But fairy princesses, you see,

Cannot belong to one.
