After the upper secondary school I joined army to serve in transportation unit for a year. Since completing my military service I returned to civilian life as a truck driver and kept this job until I moved out from Finland. During my work I got interested to study automotive engineering and transportation further. There fore I returned to school to study engineering meanwhile keeping truck driving as a part time job. 

During my studies I was offered a possibility to study abroad. I took this chance and combined my engineering studies with additional half a year of studies in the International business course programme in Antwerpen, Belgium. The following summer I returned to Belgium to work for Ford Motor Company´s manufacturing plant in Genk.

In 2003, after completing my studies, I returned to Belgium and have been working for Volvo Truck Corporation as a technical support engineer since then.
