The New Paradigm Oracle: "Inside the Bell Pepper Mandala" by Linda Ochoa

INSIDE THE BELL PEPPER MANDALA

Contents of the New Paradigm Oracle

On the cutting board
there is a four-sided balance
The child wonders, "Are there any square fruits or vegetables?"
The mother doesn't think so. "Well
salt crystals are square under
a microscope but then they're not alive."
"There are not any triangles either?"
"Probably not. The shape of life is round."
"But almonds are oval with a point on the end--
like rounded-off torpedoes?"
"That's not geometric! They're seeds
They have to grow!"
"Oh, the point drops in
so they can grow--like little missiles?"
"There aren't any geometric shapes in growing things
except the circle, no squares, no triangles."
"And the fruits are round to roll around away from the tree...
a square fruit or vegetable couldn't roll.
All of life is round?"
"Yes round like the earth to match
going round the sun."
