ANIM_BULLET_WHITE-BLUE.gif (275 bytes)Mazi Cohen did many backing vocals and participated to numerous artists' albums before coming up with her much anticipated first solo record, in 1987. Mazi Cohen is clearly a rock singer although she also sings a few ballads which are quite effective. Anyway, her first album got rave reviews and five years later, at last, she released a second album, called "Transitions". This second album  was not only even more rock than the first but what a disappointment to hear that her once beautiful and flawless voice had become all raspy and husky... Still, on this last album, the last song, "Ani lo Nehelemet" (I'm not going to disappear), is a pure gem! So, why don't you give it a try and hear for yourself...

MAZI COHEN. Hed Artzi. Mazi Cohen's first album. A few excellent songs.Pop-rock.

MAZI COHEN

TRANSITIONS. Hed Artzi. A very rock album. A so so voice. One fantastic song though. To me, definitely not among my favorite albums.
