  5.  In Cold Blood by Truman Capote--scares the bejeezus out of me
  6.  Little Women by Louisa May Alcott--delights me
  7.  Roget's Thesaurus--a strange choice, I know, but I love it
  8.  The Stand by Stephen King--enthralls me
  9.  Stranger in a Stranger Land by Robert Heinlein--has sort of a poly leaning
  10.  To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee--if I had to choose my #1 favorite this is it
