Are you chained to the world?  Bound to earthy pleasures.  Does the world captivate you with her sensuality?  The world has much to offer and the flesh can ever be pacified by worldly delights,  but remember in hell the flame is never extinguished nor will the worm die.    Is the world your bride or your mistress? Are you enamored by the speed of the world?

Do you live in the fast lane?  There are two pathways- One is wide and slick- headed down.  The other is narrow and sometimes hard-The path of life, or the highway to heaven.  The road to hell is faster than you can ever expect.  Which road are you on tonight friend?  Some may  be trying to travel both roads-But it can’t be done. Now is the time to get off the fence and plant you feet on the heavenly highway.

I could have painted may obvious temptations that most Christians consider worldly living - gambling-booze-drugs-cigarettes.  But this painting is to portray it’s not just the Hollywood sins that will drag you done but anything that comes between you and your God.  It is the little foxes that spoil the vine.  My Christians are on a cruise to the good life - prosperity - cars-boats-sports-leisure activities and hobbies of all sorts.  If they consume you they will hinder the working of God’s spirit in your life. What is the proper mix of Christian music to secular music in your life? Can you listen to secular music and watch secular TV and still be as anointed?

The Christian cruise may be taking you from church to church - Going here and there.  You may be chasing gifts and manifestations.  They serve good food on the Christian cruise and serve you well - but little is required in return - little  to suffer for - nothing to give up - little or no service required - first class all the way. The very waves from your cruise ship will toss you to and fro - as infants - every wind of doctrine will come your way - your Christian walk will be unstable and up and down.  When you strike that spiritual iceberg your ship will go down and you will not have the endurance to stand up. You will fall back into that sin you came out off.  Get in God’s ship - you may have to row and pull your own weight - but you will develop spiritual muscles. Get strong in God and his word and filled with his Holy Spirit and you be able to say to that mountain - be ye removed - or you may breathe you anointed breath on that ice burg and it will melt before your eyes - acquire that fire of the Holy Ghost.

Maybe God’s voice is a distant memory.  The world will creep in and steal your relationships.  There is a spirit of the world.  There is a god of this world and he comes to steal kill and destroy.  We fight not against flesh and blood-but against principalities and powers and spirits of wickedness in heavenly realms.  There are spirits ruling over our town and cities.  They come to steal the word and hinder your walk and effectiveness.   The spirit of the world is very clever and will offer many seemingly good things in ever-increasing measures.  That which began as a mild distraction will become a strong attraction - a bondage - or a yoke that has to be broken by the power of the holy spirit. For it is the anointing that breaks the yoke.

The spirit of the world that I painted is not like the real spirit of the world. The Real spirit will be as an angle of light. Very beautiful - enticing - alluring - speaking forth just enough truth to be believable. You won’t even feel his grip on your life or see the strings that he pulls for you to go his way.

The world will be as a weight upon your shoulders.   The birds of prey will attempt to devour your soul.  The birds of prey are demonic spirits that attack the flesh.  They work on the brain - our very thought lives. You will not recognize the thoughts of these spirits they will seem to be you very own thoughts.

The world will cause you to sink down into it’s mire.  The slime of the world will pollute your heart and draw you ever down.  It’s a dirty, filthy river flowing downward.  But their is a another  river. A cleansing river. A spiritual stream that flows toward heaven.  Jump right in and wash the earthly stains off.

It is interesting that in the days of Pharaoh - God sent a plague of frogs to inhabit the land  - they came right out of the Nile - that dirty  earthly river.
They came right into the houses and even their ovens.  Mosses gave the Pharaoh the option of choosing the day of his deliverance from the frogs.  It’s interesting that Pharaoh choose tomorrow as the day of his deliverance.  Friend don’t wait tomorrow for your deliverance - Today is the day of salvation says the Lord. Remember Egypt is a type of the world.

The world will offer you it’s trophies. What is you trophy going to be?  Fame, pursuit of pleasure, advancement on the job,  a bass boat, a younger wife?
Paul said to run the race for the high calling of Christ. What ladder are you trying to climb? Does your ladder have a firm foothold-a solid foundation?  What is your destination?  Does all your climbing and struggling have an eternal purpose?

The road to destruction is broad and many follow that way.  The way of salvation is narrow and few find the way to enter in.  It’s not easy to throw off your own chains. Some chains have been worn for many years and feel as comfortable as jewelry.  Others may not immediate know what their chains are. Ask god to reveal any chains that you may need delivering from.

A Christian bound is ineffective - God desires to bring a freedom to each of our lives where we can be mightily used in the kingdom.  Become unchained to be all you can be.  For Gods plans and purposed for your life to prevail.

End times - God’s outpouring -  Looking for a pure bride.
He’s calling his people to be separate.  Gods own will be marked with a spiritual mark.   Are you in the world or of the world?
