Castle on a Cloud You blink as the blue light that had suddenly obscured your vision clears. We are standing on in a courtyard of stone, floating high in the air above the Barn. Don't worry, we're not about to fall, this is a very good permanent levitation spell holding this place up here. Won't fall for millenia, at least. There is a stone roof held up by stone colums before two tremendous stone doors. This place is for the pets who like to fly. The dragons have been the first to start moving in, because the cave was getting a little crowded. These two were the first to choose this place to live. Daarebia has been trying to teach her little son, Karllan, to fly, and this seemed like a good place to start. Karllan is still a little insecure about the whole thing, so he brought his Beanie Baby, Wolfy, up with him. Kiah is a shy little dragon. She was adopted from the Dark Crystal Realm. She is just the right color of the rocks that make up the castle, so this is the perfect place for her to be, or so she says. And now for my pride and joy, Dart! He's a blue fire lizard who hatched in my Hatchery on April 26, 1999. I've always wanted a fire lizard! And he's terrific. He devides his time between here and the Hatchery, where he likes to welcome new hatchlings. He came from Verinicia Weyr. Even here there are cats! This is Ginger, who is sweet unless she's in a playful mood, at which time downright dangerous. She'd like to play barakball with the dragons and griffins, but she's too little, and besides, she sometimes forgets to sheath her claws. She came from here. Meet Shane, my lovely purple dragon! He's all grown up *sniff*. He's the first purple one I've ever had. He hatched in my Hatchery May 29, 1999 from an egg I adopted at DarkDragon Adoptions. He may be concidered an adult now but he's still a bit of a trouble maker around here, flaming things he isn't supposed to and such as that. He's quite the practical...DUCK! Good reflexes, if you hadn't been fast he would have knocked you over with those big wings of his. I was going to say "joker" before that rude interruption. Moving on... This one is much better behaved. His real name is Decdralk, but that's a little much to say for most people, especially dragon people, and especially him, so we all call him Decker. He just hatched July 3, 1999 in my Hatchery. I know he's cute, but don't get too close too him, he's still getting used to his new surroundings and all the new people, and he'll start squalling. He's a little shy, I guess. He and Kiah get along well. He came from Mystic Gardens. This is Emperess. I imagine I spelled her name wrong, but it isn't her real name anyway. She really should be empress of Casraval, a realm in the Endanth demention (the coordinates are 15622.410.100 for those of you with d-hoppers who would like to visit), except for the fact that her identical twin sister locked her in a dungeon and claimed the governing title. Empress was bannished from the demention, and she came to me for shelter and advice. We're working on a plan to get her back to her empire as you read. In the mean time, to adopt one of her kind, go to Starluck's Sweetwater Valley These two dragons, Mystra and Tarm, are a mated pair that come from the mountains aroud Sweetwater Valley. They studied arceology someplace, and they've been escavating some stuff (don't ask me what!) out of the cave behind the barn. They do enjoy flying, though, so they've made the castle their permanent home. This is Zierrith, a Pernese dragon! I've never had one of these before. I was right there when his egg hatched, and he walked over to me (I should say staggered...his little legs weren't used to that kind of work!) and he told me his name! I was shocked, of course. He uses telepathy to communicate. In the same sentance he also informed me that he was hungry, but one of the other canidates had warned me to bring some meat, so I was ready. This little guy can eat! I've got to stop gushing over him, I'll make the others jelous. His parents are Aurith and Kackith. I impressed him here. This is the castle dragons' hoard. It's small but the dragons will make sure that it grows.
