Taylor and his brothers met with some officials from Mercury today. They're going to release a new single and see how it does. If it does well they'll release a cd. Taylor leaves for LA tomorrow to record. They have 3 songs to choose from. It's up to them though, they have the final say.
Well, Taylor's gone. He'll be back in two weeks. He left this morning and missed Ari's first time standing on her own. If they do release a new album they'll have to spend a lot of time in LA. We were talking about that last night. I don't think it will be good to take 5 month old Arianna and 5 year old Daisy and relocate them for only a few months. Taylor took that to mean that I didn't want to go with him. We ended up getting into a fight over it and we still weren't on the best of terms when he left.
Taylor just called. He said he was stupid and that he he's been miserable. We talked for almost 3 hours, almost an hour of that discussing what to do for the upcoming Thanksgiving, Daisy's birthday, and Christmas. We decided that we're going to invite everyone over for Thanksgiving. Sort of as a thank you for all they've done for us. Taylor said he was going to buy Daisy a special birthday present in California. He won't tell me what it is, but he said he has a suprise for me and Arianna too. I can't wait for him to get home. Ever since the day baby Daisy and I moved in with his family we haven't been apart for more then 2 nights. The bed feels so lonely without him. Here I go again, the old softie. I guess I should try to go to sleep before I blur this whole page.
Taylor came home today. He picked Daisy up and swung her around, then he did the same to me! He's such a dork, but I love his! He gave Arianna a big, cuddly stuffed polar bear from when he went to the zoo with Ike and Zac. She loves it to death. She's always clutching his fluffy white fur in her tiny little fist. He bought Daisy a little pocketbook in the shape of a Daisy and he told her that h'd bought her her birthdy present and it would be there in a few weeks. He told me that I'd get my present that night. He had arranged for Zac to babysit the girls and he was taking me out to dinner.
Well, we're back. Tay took me to this beautiful little Italian restaurant downtown. It just opened last month and only has 10 tables. They have the best food! Taylor gave me two suprises. The first one was a gold chain with a small flower charm. In the center was my birthstone, a diamond, and it was surrounded by his birthstone as the petals. The second present was unbelieavble. When we were 15 I went to LA with his family. We were walking down the street when a beautiful diamond ring caught my eye. I had said that I hoped that someday my husbnd would buy me a ring as beautiful as that. Somehow Taylor managed to find the exact same ring. He even had it engraved with our initials and our wedding date on it. He is the absolute greatest husband ever.
We also decided what we would do if Mercury wanted them to record a cd. We'll move temporarily to California. Our two week seperation was all we needed to make up our minds. Since we homeschool Daisy it won't really be a problem. Taylor, the girls and I will rent an apartment for a few months. We're not even sure if we'll need to move. We don't know if their fans will still be fans or if they'll have new fans. I guess only time will tell.
