Welcome to my corner of the galaxy!

My name is Jerry. I started painting approximately 9 or 10 years ago. I like to read (primarily science fiction and fantasy), I like to cook, I enjoy photography, and I like to paint when time permits.

This is the first painting I did at a workshop. Lynne Pittard was the instructor, she is very good, and made the experience enjoyable. Though there were frantic moments trying to see what color of paint the others near me were dipping their brushes into, because I didn't know Alazrin Crimson from Burnt Umber.

This painting is what I did the second day of the same workshop. As you can see, my ballerina, looks human. A tribute to the abilities of Lynne Pittard. She now has her own website. I painted this at a pallet knife workshop in CA.

I have two nieces that are cheerleaders. One of them wants me to paint pictures of cheerleaders. I snapped this at a basketball game on a recent trip home. I am thinking about painting this.
