Our children are dying
They're killing each other
And anyone else
That gets in their way
Why do they do this?
Kids shouldn't do this
When children are killing and dying
You know something is wrong with this place

How do we get
Killers from kids?
What makes these children
Go so insane?

Haw can the life of a child
End so abruptly?
The death of a child
An innocent child
By some act of violence
Make me want to cry

We must do something
There's nothing left to do
No matter what we do
No matter how hard we try
Things keep getting worse
It seems like we're cursed
Things keep getting darker
It seems as though the world
Will just fade into the night

People keep dying
By shots from the gun
By killing each other
Nothing is won
This insanity must stop
It will not be ended
By another gun shot
Death isn't the answer
We can all live together
Forget all our differences
And continue to live
