The loss of a friend
To the cold, dark hands of death
Causing an ache in my heart
As I mourn her loss
She was so young
She always seemed so happy
But it was the pain inside
That brought her to death
All the hurting
That she shared with no one
But held inside
Causing the pain to increase
Until she no longer wished to live
No wher pain is gone
As is all the Love
That she never felt
Because she never opened up
To let the pain out
Or let the Love in
Through her death
She has been saved from the pain
And also robbed of the Love
That life brought her
