I cannot write
I cannot think
Of the majestic words
To write a poem
The feelings are there
As they always are
Yet they cannot be transformed
Into the lyrics of a poem
My love
My caring
Cannot come out
I feel I have lost
My skill to write
Why can I not
Express myself
Through words
I need to write
To cleanse my soul
And tell the world
How I really feel
Deep in my heart
