I have not written for so long
For years never did I write of my feelings my hopes or dreams
I was supposed to be in love
Yet I had nothing to express
Never was I inspired to note my feelings in a short verse
Suddenly that changed
Someone new in my life
And the inspiration returns
The words coming flooding back
Pouring onto the paper
Again I write as I used to
So inspired
In touch once more with so much that I had lost
Finding within myself a place that I hadn’t even realized I was missing
Returning here
To piece together everything inside
Fixing all that had come unglued over the past few years
