Agate, or Aggie for short, is the daughter of Foxy and Onion. She is an albino mouse so her genes are unknown, though since her parents genes are known, her own genes will become clear as she is bred. For the moment she is in with her full brother Buster Brown. She was slated to either be a pet, or go to a petstore, but at the last minute, she was placed with Buster Brown, and Didymouse, as part of a new colony. In this way I will be able to discover if Buster has a C/c or C/c^ch gene configuration. If he has the c^ch gene then he would be a perfect mouse to use to try to create fox mice. Her genetics are as follows:

• A = Agouti
• a^t = tan
• B = Full colour (not brown)
• c^ch = Chinchilla
• c = albino
• D = Full Colour (not blue)
• P = Full Colour (black eyed)

Mouse Litters

• It will be a few weeks before her first litter. When she has her first litter, she should have enough babies to help me to determine her genetic makeup. If she has agouti babies, then she has the A gene. If she has albino babies, then he has the albino gene. Since they are both offspring of Foxy, who is recessive pink eyed, I will have to be sure not to assume that any pink eyed babies are albino. There could easily be some fawn babies, since both parent mice have to be recessive b. It will be an interesting thing to discover her genes.
