In the Courtyard
me busking at my favourite place; the courtyard of the downtown library
This is the courtyard of the Main Library in Victoria. The courtyard is enclosed with a glass ceiling, the dynamic of which, against the concrete, creates a reverberation that enhances purity of tone.
My recording engineer has been very successful in capturing the magic of this space.
My primary musical instrument is my voice; I also play recorders, the lakota flute, and most recently, my precious Tristy and Oladion harps.
"In the Courtyard" is my fourth cd. It is a blend of all my "voices". I chose the title as a tribute to the beautiful courtyard space that I perform in, here, in Victoria, BC.
