Innocent Bystanders:
A Dying Race

Whenever I listen to the news, I always hear about some accident or other were Innocent Bystanders get hurt or killed. I simply mutter to myself, shaking my head.

Boy, I think, these Innocent Bystander people are a dying race. They're being killed everywhere.

The way I see it, with all the accidents happening today, the Innocent Bystanders are facing a serious problem. They can't go outside without risking death. If something isn't done soon, all the Innocent Bystanders will be killed and then who'll be there to take the stray gunshot to the chest?

I'm taking steps to avoid being killed as an Innocent Bystander. I'm going to become a Guilty Bystander. How often do you hear on the news about a Guilty Bystander being run down by the out-of-control truck? Guilty Bystanders have better luck. Guilty Bystanders are never hurt when there's the option of killing an Innocent Bystander instead.

Just to be safe, however, I'm taking a few of my more Innocent friends with me next time I go out. You never know.
