Assyla's View on....Nutrition:
Have you ever bought a bottle of water? Have you ever looked at it's nutritional label? And, after being shocked that water has a nututrional label, actually read it? I did, and get this: water has no calories! Wow! No fat, either! Or Cholesterol! This is great, I thought. No wonder everybody likes water. No calories. Then I thought, hey, what else is so great about water? and I continued to read the label. Hmm, zero carbs. Zero sodium. There was a definite pattern there. Zeroes, straight down. Wait a minute....! Sure it had no calories, but where was my vitamin A? My iron? My minerals? What a jip! This is great, I thought, returning to my normal cynical self. Sure, I get no calories, but this water has no nutritrional value otherwise. That's what zeroes mean, right? Water is highly overrated. Then I thought, what about that recommended amount of water we're supposed to drink everyday? Are we just filling ourselves up with empty water? Why can't we get out daily liquids from something with more nutritional value? Like tea? Tea is mostly water, but it has nutitrional value. Wait... better yet.... coffee has nutritional value, too....
