"The American Patriotic Union of Superheroes of History"written by F.D. Lewis, © Copyright 2000 Author's note: This story was never meant for this page at all; it was last-minute idea for creative project I had to put together for my AP American History (APUSH). The following is aproximately the same introduction I gave my class when I presented this story to them.
I have before you here possibly the worst-written history story ever. (Pause for applause. Really, they applauded. No, really!) It is terribly, terribly stupid, and I'm probably the only one who'll ever get most of the jokes. The whole basis for this stupid idea was the question: What if historical figures had superpowers? And what if they all banded together is somesort of superhero union? So I wrote a story about the American Patriotic Union of the Superheroes of History, which is APUSH. (Applause again. Honestly!) It follows the exploits of several of my favorite people in history (to make fun of) as they try to save history from being altered.
Part One: The Characters
Part Two: The Set-Up
Part Three: Crossing the Delaware
Part Four: The Spirit of St. Louis
