I've actually never been that great with short stories; I'm lousy at keeping it simple.
Instead, I keep expanding the story idea until it's grown to such a proportion it takes
forever to write.
Below are two stories. Kauria is a novella which I wrote the premise for in sixth and has gone through so many convolutions that I'm frightened to take credit for it. APUSH is a short story with pretensions. It was simply too long to stick on page, so I move it here.
