Dreams of Angels

On angels wings I come to you.  I close my eyes, and feel the wind upon my face, everythings moving so fast and then....
I open my eyes and you are there in front of me, kissing me, holding me, telling me you love me, whispering in my ear promises of forever.
We are together for a single moment in time, in infinite bliss, only we can understand each others pain, passion, exstacy, joy, sadness, laughter.  I hear an angels voice, warning me that while I am here with you now, I cannot stay, I must go back.  But I dont listen, I drown it out with kisses and love that only we can make, I refuse to hear...
For a moment in time, Im here and nothing else matters. In our world we're spinning faster and faster, our love grows older but never stale.  The sun shines on us, warming the sweetness of the love we share.  My nights with you are too intense for words, my face burrowed in your chest, your body close to mine I rest peacefully.
But still I hear this voice, getting louder with each passing moment, and still I drown her out with kisses from you, I refuse to listen.
And then there comes the day, I can no longer ignore this voice, for now we both hear.  She's calling me now, "its time to go back", first I scream, then I cry..... I hold on to you as tightly as I can, snatching at the air, refusing to be torn away.  I feel myself being lifted, and I hold on tighter.  I close my eyes, I feel the wind upon my face, everythings moving so fast and then..... I open my eyes and you're not there. You're gone again, I feel a stinging pain in my heart. I can still hear you calling me, I reach out to you, but your not here, your there.  But then I remember the things you told me. The promises you made.  I reach deep into my heart, and then I find... You.  You were there all along inside of me, as I am there inside of you.  I close my eyes and dream of angels, I close my eyes and dream of you.  And I know that when I open my eyes again,  You'll be there.
