The terms I used are past,
Gone are the years before,
Like rocks which turned to dust,
I shall mean nothing more.
Goodbye to the night sky
For I have loved the moon,
The stars, and all of my
Nocturnal friends that soon
Shall become memories;
Entwined with these are your
Words, your smile, and your touch
Which forever restore
My senses. I approach
The unknown, the luckless,
Pendency and decay;
Far from togetherness,
I face another day.
