A CHRISTMAS PRAYER Lord, hear our prayer this Christmas Please grant our earnest plea. Help this old world to right itself, Make all men to agree. Help generals, kings and presidents And people just like us Be friendly with each other, And no longer fight and fuss. Make families be united As they always used to be And keep our country safe from harm And all our people free. God grant that we are worthy To receive this gift from Thee. And in our hearts may Peace and Love Glow as our Christmas tree.
