She's missing the motivation
to make her want to fly
But somehow I think she'll get by.
And in addition to her highs and lows,
We've all taken some severe blows.
But that's no reason to shoot her down,
For then ALL our bodies would seap to the ground.
Remembering the nights when
darkness claimed our hearts,
it ran through every part.
And when music saved our souls each night,
There'd be no place to fight.
But it's early in the morn
when dawn drags in her body;
We knew that she'd been naughty.
And neither the past night, the one ahead,
nor the way that group would play
Could save her soul today;
So we pray.
