grant me the water
breathe for me mountain air
drown me in crops
drop me on clouds
for it's got to be better than here

screw suburbia
and its false evening glow
screw the half-humans
and what they half know
i don't live here, i never have
and someday i will simply deny
ever living with the blind and
ever growing an eye
