How do you kill
A yearning so large
That takes over senses,
Takes you, takes charge
Of all that you want and
All that you need
And would do anything
To impede
The thoughts that give you
Strength to bear
The loneliness that
Lives out there,
The bonds you'd make
With other men,
The nonchalance
You need when
All is gone
And never was,
Until it's all
Recalled because
That's what it wants,
This yearning, so true;
Do two and two
Make four for you?
When you can do nothing
But just sit there,
And breathe while twirling
Strands of hair,
Child, break on through, if you dare...
