About 2 years ago I decided to
go back to school and get my Associate's degree in computer programming. I've been
working with computers ever since they were programmed with keypunch cards, (Does anybody
remember those?) but never bothered to get a degree.
One of the requirements for my
degree was an art credit, and not being artistically inclined, I decided that photography
would probably be the best fit. Well, I guess you could say I got hooked, because
I've been taking a photography class every semester ever since. I took all the
offered classes - Basic B&W, Advanced B&W, and Basic Color.
I'm now in the Independent
classes, which basically means you get to do pretty much whatever you want - it's just got
to be good. This semester I decided to work on flowers. I bought a Nikon 60mm
Micro Lens (to go with my Nikon N-70) and went to work. I think my flowers
portfolio is by far my best work.
All of the images on these
pages were taken with my N-70. In addition to the micro lens used for the flowers, I
use a Quantaray 70-210 lens for most of my other work.
Please visit the guestbook and
let me know you were here. I'd also really appreciate your feedback on my images.
