EATHER
BOAS

The
tame exotic animal feather boa has been worn round the necks of women
for many centuries now. Whether used during carnival or in privat, a feather
boa always lends exclusiveness to the wearer. The way of wrapping a feather
boa round oneself is regarded as an art from itself by some.

Even
dolls want to have their own feather boas. The toy industry has emulated
real life and offers a large range of boas for the small ladies.

Feather
boas can be made out of nearly all kind of feathers. Even the smallest
bird feathers can be used to produce this feathered accessory. More expensive
boas are made out of special feathers like the one from ostriches.

A
remarkable variety of online shops is now offering feather boas via the
www. While not all boas are made out of feathers, time has sown that unnatural
boas could not assert themselves against their natural opponents.

Two
plants are also named after the beloved accessory. While the "Hosta
Feather Boa" is a garden plant, the "Featherboa Kelp" on
the right is living in the surf region of the ocean. The latter plant
also looks like it is a close relative of the popular fashion accessory.

Whole
dresses and costumes can be made out of long boas. You can see a costume
where feather boas have been used to suggest the wings of a duck. Photo
