This site explores some deep questions regarding the unobstructed universe. The technique used is metaphor. For example, as a movie projector produces an illusion of motion on the big screen, so man's visual cortex is a device used to produce the illusion of continuous consciousness in the brain (at the rate of ten images per second). What I term universal consciousness, however, lies in the quantum vacuum. Total consciousness is the bedrock on which all matter rests. This is analogous to a huge solid roll of crystal film through which the universe is projected. Space is the all pervading screen. Some of these metaphors are also introduced and explored in the sci-fi script, INSIDEtheRAINBOW.

One premise is that most of the clockworks of the material universe lie hidden in the unobservable realm referred to as the quantum vacuum and which I term the Planck realm. The unobservable events take place in time frames of femtoseconds (1 divided by 10 to the power of 15), attoseconds (1 divided by 10 to the power of 18), zeptoseconds (1 divided by 10 to the power of 21), yoctoseconds (1 divided by 10 to the power of 24) and down to the Planck second (1 divided by 10 to the power of 33). These different blink frequencies of matter are contrasted to man's personal blink frequency to determine whether we contact a gas, liquid, solid or electromagnetic wave. This frequency idea makes time analogous to the invisible potter's hands shaping matter out of space.

A second premise of this site is that just as the vibrating strings of a banjo can produce a huge array of music, so the different frequencies by which sub nuclear matter blinks in and out of the quantum vacuum, produce our observable universe. One attempt physicists have used to visualize these events is termed string theory. However, I circumvent string theory since I feel the average reader would rather grapple with metaphor than geometry or mathematics. Finally, this site is a preface to a science fiction script titled, INSIDE THE RAINBOW, which will dramatize the discovery of an alien carbocrystalline metabolism, which should clarify these fictive ideas.

Although we all see through the glass darkly, one sees nothing without looking. As you expose yourself to another's point of view it is not necessary to superimpose your ideas atop the others. This produces conflict and blurred images. Each person's point of view can follow orderly in its own frame -- six billion frames comprise the total picture --one per person on earth-- WORLDREELS. As we travel life's path, self-gratification will exhaust us. Focusing on another's ideas will break this inbred and narcissistic cycle.
