RACISM is cancer on our planet and cultures that condone it are in need of obliteration now. RACISM is not new, is not unique to Americans nor is it confined to blacks and whites only. There is also animosity among individuals of the same races or groups of people. Hispanics, Asians, Caucasians, Blacks, Southerners, immigrants, YOU NAME IT! Hate abounds intolerance prevails, Why? Because people like you do nothing about it!! Now is the time for all good people to come to the aid of their country and to work to erase RACISM everyday.

ERACISM : n. the obliteration of the practice of RACISM.
Erase v. to rub, scrape or wipeout, expunge, obliterate.

Race prejudice. Martin Luther King Jr. was correct when he said, "Race prejudice is based on groundless fears, suspicions and misunderstandings." I believe racism begins in the home. If a child isn't raised to be racist but turns out to be racist, it is more than likely the influence of friends whose parents are racist.

How can racism be erased? By educating these ignorant parents so they can see that we all are created equal and that racism is wrong. When this is accomplished then these parents will educate their children and this will prevent racism from relapsing in the future.

Please don't teach your children or yourself to be racist against others. Remember these wise words from Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, "We are one, after all, you and I; together we suffer, together we exist, and forever we will recreate each other."
