: : Banshee biscuits! I forgot to add this, though it really is a separate thing. Regarding Santino's leaving the coven, he might very well have had to leave because he was getting too old to make any more vampires in the coven's view. Making vampires were a way that he could gain followers and supporters. However, older vampires were not allowed to make vampires, and no definition of old is ever given, though three hundred definitely is, as this is how old Magnus was. This might have become a major hindrence for Santino if he had had to rely solely on those vampires abducted into the coven for support. So he left because his own rules began to choke him in the end.

: I don't get it. Where are then the fledgings of Santino?

Dead in the purge. Probably before them if they stayed with the coven, which they most likely did since it was all they knew. (Vampires tended to have short life spans. Armand noted that there were none above three hundred years. In one of my specs one of Santy's fledglings is going to hunt him down and try to kill him for abandoning the coven and becoming a rogue.
