Subject: on the subject of golden birthdays
Dear Ana,

Ferdie Torralba is sending his thanks for the virtual bouquet sent to him by
Prep Class '65.  I called to tell him of the bouquet you sent in our behalf
(thank you), I asked May when his birthday was and she told me it is tomorrow
(LA time) - October 6.

I talked to Ferdie to greet him and to tell him about Ed de la Rea's visit to
LA this weekend and that we were planning to meet on Sunday after the "boys'"
round of golf.  Apparently he attends afternoon church services and begged
off.  So I said my goodbyes and sent my regards.

Meanwhile I turned to a piece of paper my son handed me .. "call Maryann,
Robert's wife" referring to Maryann Reyes (Robert-kambal, Camilo's utol's
wife - May Torralba's best friend).  So I called her and she says, "guess
who's turning fifty this week?" so I told her I was just talking to the guy.
Apparently She, Robert and Ferdie's wife May is cooking up a surprise
"Potluck" for Ferdie this Saturday from 2 PM at Robert and Maryann's place
... so we are all invited.  Here's the address and phone number

BTW, Abet, Hector and Ceso, do you have a venue for your game with Ed?
please let us know so we can plan on a place where we can "do late lunch"
(some of us attend church services on Sunday mornings).

Monday, October 11's happy hour in Woodland Hills with Ed de la Rea will most
likely be at BJ's brewery right on Canoga Avenue and Victory Blvd for anyone
else interested in joining.  Let's say, the tap will be on at 6 pm... Res,
they have very good flavored teas...

O, siya, sa makakarating (to all three get togethers... PONG!), magkita tayo
sa mata!  Sa mga hindi makakarating, I guess you just supplied us of
conversation topics...
