Subject: I was so relieved to see Franklin sa CCU kahapon
May cardiac
rehab pa in several
stages.
tanks big and small sa
glucometer + strips
(for testing sugar level in the blood).
May I request you for financial assistance for them, pareho
naman natin
silang kaklase?

His condition is stable, according to the nurse at CCU.
I will drop by the hospital mamaya after office hours.

Subject: Franklin is still at the CCU of St Lukes
but only because there is no available regular room yet,
the nurse assured me.
Pang-regular room na ang kanyang health condition. Isn't
that great news, folks?

in response to my phone call, scheduled for transfer na
raw siya to a
regular room today. Tinanong pa kung sino ako, at sasabihin
daw niya kay Sir.
Isn't that great news, ha?

Ana, I have not opened my mail in ages because we were
so busy with the visit
of the First Lady to NY to open the exhibit of Asia Society
- Sheer
Realities. Anong nangyari kay Franklin? Is he okay now?

Dear Tita Ana,
We're so sorry to hear bout Tito Franklin. I told Daddy
right away. Please
relay to the Mangonons that we will pray for the good
health and fast
recovery of Tito Franklin. Nakakalungkot naman....ewan.
Please also tell Tita Pat to take good care of her health.
OTOH, I will
also email her.
Please just extend our concern over this. We will pray for them.
Tricia
Dear Ana, Hope this gets to Patsy. I can run over to her home if needed. Love, Felice

Dearest Pat,
Ana sent us the news. Andy and I are praying for
your health as well as Franklin's. Patsy you've got to be very strong
physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. In moments like what
you are going through the special qualities women have are most needed.
It is the woman of the home who can keep everyone sane, everyone stable...
and add the extra love and caring and intuition that can keep our loved
ones well.
Please let us know if you need any help. Is your house okay or do you want us to run over and check things out for you? Let me know, (Phone number supplied).
Love, Felice and Andy

Franklin Mangonon had a heart attack last Friday. His
BP went down to 70
early Saturday morning, so they did an emergency angiogram
and angioplasty
at St Lukes' on Saturday am. I saw him at the Coronary
Care Unit (CCU)
of St Lukes'
(go down the stairs to the basement, then right, another
right) Saturday evening
while Ria and Pat were feeding him a full diet meal.
He looks okay to me, at hindi naman ako kinakabahan,
so I think he is gonna
make it. Please include him in your prayers.
I am worried about Pat, who is not exactly in the best
of health, and who
now is not getting any rest at all.
She could use our moral support.
Her e-mail address is brecks@pacific.net.ph and the mailing
address is
