January 1999 Poems

For the week January 4-10, 1999:

my mind

keeps saying

let him go

but my heart

is pleading

to make him stay

A prayer requested by a dear friend, for the week January 11-17, 1999.

                              Lord, we are grateful for this blessing,
                          our life-long friendship. It is a bond
                          stronger than kinship.

                          We will never forget how it all started.
                          We are always amazed how it is sustained.
                          And we trust that it will go on and on.

Truly, it is unique.

Thank You for Your Love.
