Here are two postcards from my Memorial Day, 1998 trip to Palm Springs!!!!
(Sorry, but I forgot to take a camera with me and I was staying at clothing-optional
resorts where people often discourage pictures anyway.)
(Too bad for you. . . )
Here's the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, a Swiss-made gondola that goes from about
2600 feet up to about 8500 feet in 14 minutes. It was 90 degrees in Palm Springs and at the top of the
tram there was snow on the ground. It's an exhilarating trip.
Here's another postcard I got at the Tramway gift shop. It shows the view of Palm
Springs and the whole Coachella Valley floor.
I strongly recommend taking off your clothes and laying around in the sun. I find it relaxes me
more than anything else!
(However, I have found that it is best to plan activities like this one. Take a trip somewhere. Go
to a place it's legal. Don't just strip and then curl up on your boss's windowsill. . .
But if you do, tell me about it.)
