[title]

Swan slow and graceful
Or catquick and lithe
Handspring and tumble
Or smooth glide and writhe

A summer day's joy
A lost windblown leaf
A lover's ardor
A mother's true grief

The pain of knowledge
Tragedy's sure knife
Pure exultation
To celebrate life

For what it was like
When you were just five
Green grass and blue skies
And you were alive

As timeless music
Sets senses reeling
The dancer dances
Both thought and feeling

Each step a lyric
No action by chance
To a sacred song
Performs the Great Dance
