With closed eyes and relaxed body, I open myself and let go. Brilliant amber, smoky topaz, icy diamond, crimson garnet, serene sapphire all dance and float around and through me. I open myself to the wind's caress, feeling his touch softly over my body. I open myself to the water's song, hearing her lilting laughing voice in my soul. I open myself to the fire's dance, matching his intensity with the fire of a phoenix's heart. I open myself to the earth, blending my body with hers and her elements. I open myself to nature, knowing I am a part of an intricate circle where everything and everyone is linked together. I open myself to the universe, reveling in the fact that I am it and it is me... we are one and the same. I open myself to the Great Mystery, forever safe as a child of this Spirit. I open myself to the past, so that I may learn the wisdom of the elders. I open myself to the present, to live and learn and grow. I open myself to the future, willing to learn new lessons about myself and all that is around me.
