I was reading something the other day about "strange quarks". Apparently they're smaller than atoms, but can weigh tons! Scientists say they can pass straight through a chunk of the Earth in a fraction of a second. They are so small that they could slot through our skin dodging atoms without much effort. Amazing. This then confirms what I always believed, but could never prove… I do have holes in my head. (Ouch. I think something just passed through my temple and exited my thigh. For a fraction of a second I felt very, very heavy. Good thing I wasn't sitting on my Queen Anne highboy I just had reupholstered.)
