This time I'm attempting something quite different. Instead of writing a short story. I'm writing an encyclopaedia. A strange encyclopaedia. One that delibrately has nothing to do with reality.
Instead I'm documenting an imaginary world. One in which the laws of chemistry and physics remain the same as this, but the fantasy lies in constructing a very different but consistent ecology and sociology.
If you wish to contribute your own entries, as long as they are consistent with or of better quality than existing entries I will gladly add them an credit you with the authorship thereof.
Once the encyclopaedic framework has been laid, short stories and novels may be set within this world.
If you feel inclined to browse around, you can start at the beginning or perhaps its better to start with the most important feature of this world, the Firehose fens.
