I believe that the surest path to happiness is to discover or create for one's self humorous, serene cosmologies. Much can be grokked from Taosim, Buddhism and other Eastern currents, as well as from 60's counter-cultural philosophies.

Dogma can be beneficial to illustrate a point, but it is much more often detrimental to one's pursuit of a personal, meaningful spiritual path. take ALL things with a grain of salt. Everything is subjective, everything is opinion. Integrate meaningful ideas and practices into your own personal world while rejecting useless dogma and dissonant morals.
