Well, I've been slacking off again. This time, though, I'm sure you can understand. Not only have I begun the mind-numbing task of re-designing this misfit of a web site, but I've also embarked upon another Great Adventure. Namely, Passing My College Courses.
I might just kill myself.
Let's recap.
On Thursday, I worked and made a half-assed stab at getting my assignments done, since I was going to college the next day. I'm not sure how successful I was, but that desk was damn well clean when I left. Probably because I started randomly picking up papers and throwing them away.
Class was much more entrancing than I expected, probably through sheer determination on my part. I'm really not cut out for all this college garbage. The real highlight of my day was discovering Sharon in my Psychology class. I went to high school with her. When I mentioned Krisco, Sharon immediately informed me that Krisco's "nuts". It's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one who feels that way.
We didn't do too much on Friday night, except find an interesting part of a nearby shopping center that's completely unused. Someone did a shitty job of designing that place. There's an area that has shops, but isn't visible from the street. Explain to me the point of that?
Oh, and we went shopping. I bought myself 2 pairs of jeans, a vampire books, and a card to send to Glee.
Saturday was shitty. Aaron may be joining the band, so Dirk proceeded to order me about like a servant. He insisted I arrive at his house by 1:30, but he wasn't ready to go until 2:00. And he wasn't the least apologetic about making me sit around waiting for him. Things escalated to the point where Dirk got in a snit and packed his shit up. Aaron ended up practically forcing Dirk back into practice after trying to talk Dirk out of his asshole snit mood.
I amost quit. Luckily, the rest of practice went pretty smoothly.
Saturday was also two anniversaries at once. August 29 is the day I dumped Roachboy, and the damned myself to whatever hell he felt like putting me through day to day. It's also the day, a year ago, that I started dating Dirk. I can't believe we made it so far, through so much.
Dirk and I ate at our favorite Italian restaurant, even though I only had the minestrone soup.
We went to Georgetown on Sunday, to Smash records. I bought myself a tight little maroon t-shirt with a chinese dragon going from the right breast to the navel. Aaron came along with us. The trip was less stressful than usual, because we paid for parking, and took the Key bridge home.
Sunday night was spent napping and watching X-files.
Today I went to class, wasn't allowed to wear my tight shirt because it looks painted-on and Dirk didn't want any guys oggling my tits (which are magnified 10 times by the maroon shirt).
We moved Dirk's stuff out of the house, and I took a nap while he organized things.
I'm taking a break from my homework to write this, by the way. You know, my calculus book cost $106.00. I'm pissed.
Haven't heard from C--. No big surprise there. I'm about to give up completely. I've sent one last e-mail, gonna see if he responds.
I might not post as often, because I only work two days a week now. We'll see.
Goodnight.
