I think my computer's about to explode again.
It may not seem so, due to my lack of focus, but I do actually have plans. For one, I plan to meet C--, in person, before the end of next summer. It would be nice to be able go to drinking with him too, but I won't hold my breath. Either Dirk would object, or we'd be traveling with Cathy, who'd be properly shocked. I'd also like to visit Dalin, up in Schenectady, sometime this winter. I don't think that's happening, though, because her girlfriend's hemming and hawing over a date I could visit. I don't want to say anything to Dalin, but I don't think her girlfriend wants me visiting....I think it makes her insecure that I've been friends with Dalin for nine years. I did broach the subject to Dalin, but she was shocked I'd suggest her girlfriend would feel that way.
I dunno. I feel similarly about her girlfriend. After all, she did drag Dalin off to god-knows-where New York, so that I haven't seen her in over a year, and rarely hear from her at all. I think I'm well within my rights to be a little resentful, don't you?
It would seem that Roachboy finally got himself a guestbook. Go sign it for me, make a snappy little comment to brighten his day. He appreciates insults, trust me.
Okay, I am officially sick of all the bastards who got e-mails about their site in my ring and didn't respond.....what, do they just stop giving a shit once they've been members for a while? It's the same with Poison Ivy....some chickies just got moved to the queue because they didn't bother responding to the ring mistress's friendly e-mail asking them to either fix the code on their page or put it up. What these people don't seem to realize is that they're undermining the effectiveness of the ring by not putting up the code and/or screwing it up. Someone cruising the ring will get to their site, and get stuck. Most people on the ‘Net don't have much of an attention span, so when they can't get to the next site in the ring immediately, they'll just give up, rather than look at the list and move forward from there.
I might just kill myself.
