(Thursday)Well, at least I got a response out of C--. Five lines long, but a response. Sometimes I get so frustrated.

One of my notebooks disappeared immediately after I typed in the last entry. I spent all of today, tearing my house apart for it, freaking out, and generally being a mean to Dirk out of frustration. Then, I got a cryptic answering machine message from my father, telling me that he had a question to ask me....that's never a good sign. The only time he has anything to ask me is when I'm about to get in trouble. I could imagine what he had to ask me if he'd read my notebook.

So, I started planning my defense. I could mention that he had no right to read my notebook, that doing so was an invasion of my privacy. I could also claim that everything written in there was exaggerated to the point of being ludicrous. Or, I could just tell him to screw off, because I am 19.

Then he called again. I found out that he'd seen the notebook, figured that I wouldn't want my mother to read it, and had hidden it for me. He was calling to find out if I'd found it on my own.

(Friday)Katie overheard an interesting conversation between Krisco and two of her friends: (This is just the gist of it)
Krisco (insistently): We're still dating!
F1: Lets look at the facts here, Krisco. Dirk avoids you, he insults you to your face, he cringes whenever he sees you, he spends no time with you, he's openly dating someone else, he lets her write an article insulting you and helps get it distributed in the school you go to, and laughs about it, and you two are still dating?
Krisco: Yes.
F2: What, does Dirk just not know about it?
Krisco is really special. I cannot believe she still thinks she and Dirk are still dating.
