Today we’re debuting a new section called “psychic poetry.” Basically, I got this cheap upbeat version of that magnetic poetry thing for my help with this year’s CFC campaign. Psychic poetry involves closing my eyes and picking out words from the group at random, lining them up four words per line, and seeing what kind of poem we get. Today’s poem follows.
Hope happy we together
Strength special world teamwork
Perseverance anything cheese man
Crazy big are thank
We say goes community
Serve look live doing

Mountains bad sky timeThat being said, I don’t know what kind of day it will be today. I meant to scan both the snail pic and the picture of myself, but I’ve been either exhausted or apathetic in the evenings. Sometimes both, which isn’t good. The last entry that I wrote (which will be posted with this entry) seemed kind of melancholy. After doing a little mental math, I figured out that when Dirk works nights, I only get to spend between 2 ½ hours to 3 hours a day with him. That’s less than when we weren’t living together.
Wow, I smoked that cigarette a little too fast. Sometimes I wonder if the people here at work think I do drugs, because the nicotine can leave my eyes suspiciously glazed if I’m not careful.
I’m able to eat regularly now, in case any of you were worried about me wasting away.
Dirk’s about to leave Lowes for Home Depot. They’re offering him $11.50 an hour because he’s such a good stocker, and he probably wouldn’t have to work graveyard. Working graveyard is very hard on your system....it always seems to Dirk that all he does when he’s working graveyard is sleep and work.
I bought a sports bra to make it easier for me to exercise – seriously, my tits get in the way when I try to work out. I also bought some nail polish called ‘confetti’ and some blue body glitter. I got carried away while I was in the store with Katie A-.
