Yes, I know that you are probably
thinking...what is a page for poetry for lovers
doing on a Christian web site? Well, it's quite
simple ... God is love so it is no great wonder that God also created love between a man and woman. God wants us to love and fall in love. Furthermore, He wants to bless that love abundantly over all
we could ever ask or think. All He asks is that we
choose to follow His wise guidance in respects to
purity in love.
We all have desires and yearnings and needs that we wish to filled. It's also true that they can
become overwhelming at times and this is normal
because God has placed these feelings and emotions inside you! But God promises that if you keep your love pure before Him, honoring His word and guidance even above that of the
person, that He would bless you and your love with
such a wonderful journey and experience in love, much more than you could ever imagine!
The following are poems that came to my heart concerning love. Some are when i was thinking about love in marraige (inspired by reading the Song of Solomon). However, most are really about "being honest with God" with emotions and feelings that I have encountered being single and finally coming to the realization how for strength over temptation I must draw nigh to God.
