My Life :
I'm Back!

A general update:

Things that happened since i did a funk and gave up on writing these pages. Could be i stopped since my life was so bloody boring there really wasn't anything to say, but hey that hasn't stopped me before.

Im just being lazy. Wanna know what's been up since last? I finished my exams for one thing, the Finals. had a brilliant ParTeh(!) the night of the last paper. Found my true calling, my destiny blah blah... i was going to be a party animal! Trawling the streets at night in funky rags and glitter eye make-up... going out at 9pm coming home 2 days later, I was So looking forward to this new hip(!) life of mine. oh yes.

Welp, It hasn't happened yet. Went back to Singapore some weeks ago. Didn't go Zouk. uh-uh. Didn't set funky foot into a single disco the entire week. I did have my first singapore sling at this bar though... went there to have a catch-up Chat with dear chum Louise (stayed with her this trip).

The whole experience was quite ridiculous. the music was so bloody loud. For gdness sakes, there was no space to dance, nothing to do except drink and talk, and yet the music was SO loud i hardly heard myself mumble something shocked when presented with the bill - $36 for two glasses of nothing spectacular. ARGH. (see why i went broke?) Anyway, it was one of those things that are Just plain stupid. And we didn't even get those pretty paper parasols. bleah. Maybe if there were cute guys to perve at it would've been more fun, But hah. Not within a mile radius. allergic to me or something. hrmph.

gripe gripe. yup, im back ! Haha!

Actually, i flew back to sydney early, by one or two days. Here's why:

1. The Weather. the term Pressure cooker is less metaphorical nowadays. The Word, for the state of mind in da sticky atmosphere on lovely green home soil, is Mouldy. Covered in a thin film of perspiration..dust..oil...ugh

Basically, buay tahan liao. When i left, Sydney was 6'c! Which is like freaking Freezing! I was doing that breathe-out-and-see-it-fog-up-the-air thing...(apparently, that only happens below 12'c or 13'c...something like that). Funfun!

2. I Went Broke. :) My fault, mostly. Best part of my trip was the Shopping...whee! heheheh. Got piles of new stuff, and a stack of new CDs - they're about 8 dollars cheaper per album in s'pore. even in HMV. Recently though, they've passed this copyright law thing here in Oz... something about allowing imports of CDs, not restricted only to those holding the particular copyrights in australia (yada yadah...eh wot?). So anyway, prices are expected to drop in a few months, even though the entire music industry here is kicking up a mighty fuss about it.

Righto. that means i get to spend more $$ on Old Chang Kee curry puffs next time i return...heheheh  :)  smiley smiley smiley whack cough

3. That Party animal idea still on the loose.

(So i was a silly goose.)

You see, my parents were planning to go back to singapore a week after i returned. Yupyup! What with no parents, no school, there was nothing to do, bar anything i wanted to do! and speaking of bars, those too.

This was to last a week. Last week. but guess what? I didn't do anything!!!!!!!!!!! *stuff face into pillow* I had So many plans! So many fun funky fug i hate that word - funky i mean - 'i need a funky shirt! stay cool and funky!' funky funky funk the donkey already.

    Venting my spleen.

    *vague apologies*

It wasn't so bad actually. i mean, once i actually got to terms with the idea i wasn't going anywhere, i actually got out of bed and had some fun - I watched the world cup! Actually! *whump*

I saw the finals too...well, a repeat telecast anyway - i fell asleep just 2 minutes into the game (how sad is that?) but i digress - and I wish Brazil had won... Its lovely that france got to revel and party(ugh) and feel good about themselves, but i feel bad for Brazil. 3-0 is just plain embarrassing, for whatever reasons.

Ah. song just ended. Was playing the Smashing Pumpkin's latest album Adore on my new discman. (Daddy bought me a discman!) i shocked him by passing my exams you see... Its a SONY. Got a flatbed scanner too! bloody good one apparently. Wanted a digital camera, but this'll do for now. Just have to resolve the usual territorial issues with my terrorist brother. He's utterly revolting. (terrorist, revolting, geddit?) Hyuk.

i bet i make u groan like no one else does.

yes i love u too baby. pashpash. <-- aussie slang for passionate slobfest

You know what? the last day of my exams, the night of [that] party, was the night of the first World Cup game. Last night, the Last(ack) night of my solitary freedom in sydney, was also the night of the Final game(!)

Coincidence? I think not. hah. Anyway, my parents flew back this morning. yab yab yab. Im half glad to see them. I just wish my mom would let off the burnt smell in the kitchen. nag nag nag. if she'd seen the smoke that night, i think... ah, its best she don't know.

Anyhows, its interesting(yes it is) that the entire time i took off writing My (sad) Life articles, was exactly the entire time the world cup lasted! Anyway, It started, and ended, with Brazil; and the both of us aren't partying any... <-- attempt to evoke despondency

Still, some of them soccer players are pretty darn cute, aren't they?

heheh.

Tell you my favourites... two in particular: Edwin van der Sar - the goalkeeper for Holland, and Dennis Bergkamp, also from Holland (gee). Maybe i watched too many holland matches...maybe orange is a sexy colour...something. And then there's Roberto Baggio. he's not really my type, but isn't he just Such a pretty boy? *grin* oh funfunfun~
Here, i got photos, with write-ups too..ay?...:)

these photos don't
Edwin van der Sar

age: 28 (born 1970)
height: 1.97m

He's SO CUTE ! Such a mouse!
and he always looks worried...awww...
If you don't know me well, let me explain.
All the guys i like, look like rodents.
Mice, hamsters, gerbils, chipmunks...
all in the eternal search for a talking pet (maybe).
What's more, he's TALL!
the tallest guy in the world cup this
year to boot  (pun quite intended)... =)
really do him justice

and he plays brilliantly too!
Dennis Bergkamp

forgot to check for age/height/whtever.
not essential anyway.
its the eyebrows this time... serious!

See the pronounced eyebrow ridge?
the strong nose bridge? Even the hairstyle.
Soooo attractive. yum..
Possibly a hamster, this one...An expressive, terribly intense and yet gentle sort of look.

*swoon*

those expressive hands...and eyebrows..

yes i know its faded but i have no image editor
oooooh....
Pretty boy himself.
methinks the new short hair is So much
better, ya...? less scruffy. so nicely groomed,
he looks dressed up even on the field.  Yum!
Orgy! Is this a great photo or what?

btw, Bergkamp's the one lying spread-eagled on the grass (!)

Well that was fun. *grin*

Before i end this off, there's this guy here in sydney whom i've known for...say, a month. Used to bug me about updating my hmpage. p'raps looking for a personal mention, hrm? (mwahahahahaha). So here goes: He's 29 this year, an ex-acsian (say that 5 times really fast), was an acj Rugger(oooooh...) AND a lit 's' paper student, presently a law(final)yr undergrad playing rugby with the Aust. Rugby Union (or something impressive like that). He's eager to please, intelligent and witty with gentle manners. Also occasionally accessorised with TCS celebrity-friends, perfect for getting into nightclubs F.O.C. Doesn't he sound the perfect catch?

*chortle*

Ben baby, you got your mention! Anyone female, nubile, clear of brain and interested, can go to his homepage and browse around. *grin* He's been hanging out for a root and doesn't seem to want to handle it himself, so would appreciate someone helping him pull it... (snigger)

Pull my finger baby!

If u didn't understand that, good fer you.

i just love this

This has been fun. this is alot of fun in fact, writing...albeit all about myself...yesyes the ego... still, you're reading it! hahah! can't deny that. nyeah nyeah! *regressing into infancy*

Now for technical details...I'll be enrolling in the BSc Psychology (Hons) course in UNSW (uni of new south wales), which starts on approx. 27th July. And, Orientation promises to be Quite enjoyable... just think of all the Parties! *bang-crash*

oh YES!
