I guess I’ve been a photographer most of my life, dating back to my teens.  Over the years I have photographed everything from celebrities to generals, mountain tops to table tops, - - and flowers . . .

I “did time” in the U.S. Air Force for over 20 years, visiting and photographing most of the beautiful cities of the world.

While stationed in Germany I conducted evening photography classes for dependents, sponsored by the University of Maryland.

I have received numerous awards, trophies and citations throughout the years for my prize winning pictures.

I am a transplanted cheese head from Wisconsin, having (now) lived in the beautiful state of California for several decades.  My late wife hailed from Saint Cloud, Minnesota.  I have been blessed with two beautiful children, Dianne and Steve, - and with three loving grandchildren, Shane, Michelle and April, all the objects of my affection!

My life has been fulfilling.  I am grateful, - have no regrets.  I now live in the beautiful city of Santa Rosa, California and focus on my flowers (play on words ?), - hence, - Marty’s flowers . . .

All of my flower pix are of flowers I personally have planted in my back yard, -nurtured, -given much T.L.C. - & harvested, - & blessed! I hope you enjoy my flower pictures.  Help yourself to happiness...
