Me and My Kitties
Hello! My name is Suzie , I am 29 years old and live in England. I am currently employed as a civil servant. Let me tell you a bit about my other interests....
I have two cats, called Girlie and Ginger (...very original names! ) They are now three years old... The picture below was taken at a ball a couple of years ago.
Hmmmm... what... ? ...that looks like my two cats Ginge-babe and Girlie-bob in the beer glass!

Where I Live
I live in a very beautiful part of England called Devonshire.
North Devon is very rural, with dramatic coastline and picturesque towns and villages. I live in a village called Northam, overlooking Westward Ho! and the Atlantic Ocean.
The view from my window changes with the seasons. There are beautiful sunsets when the weather is fine. English weather is changeable at the best of times..... so if you come to England bring your umbrella!

Music and Theatre
'If music be the food of love, play on...' A famous quote from Twelfth Night, by William Shakespeare. Music is so special... Music makes my day! I mostly listen to modern bands such as REEF, Radiohead, Portishead, Lenny Kravitz, Stereophonics. But I also listen to whatever fits the mood... classical, blues, rock... you name it (as long as it's not dodgy or raucous!). I own a bodhran (irish drum) and a guitar but I can't play either yet! Maybe one day I'll take the initiative to take lessons.......
Theatre is also something I indulge in, not as often as I'd like. I've seen a few Musicals, Operas and plays. My favourite theatre is the Minnack. It is not far from Penzance in Cornwall. The actual stage and seating area are carved out of a cliff edge, over looking the sea. A picture of the Minnack is in my Photo Gallery.
Travelling
I love learning about different nationalities and countries. It's amazing how peoples cultures and lifestyles differ from one country to the next, even if they neighbour each other.
I enjoy looking through travel guides, watching travel programs on tv and planning itineraries for my next trip... whether it be for a long weekend in an English town or two weeks abroad. I have recently found Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk the best way to review and choose the best books, so I've included links on this page and on my other pages.

Other Interests
I also like arts and crafts. If you visit my Art pages you'll see what a talented bunch of friends I have!
I am a qualified (ITEC) Aromatherapist and Masseuse. Aromatherapy is an alternative therapy using essential oils.
Poetry. I like reading poems which touch the heart. Poems which cause emotion. I try to write poetry when I have the time and inspiration... My poetry page has a few of my favourite poems and some original poems.
My Family
I have one older sister called Becki. She has been married to Jonathan since 20th March 1993. They have recently moved to Tilehurst, near Reading.
Becki is interested in SCUBA diving and interior decorating. Jonathan is a trainer in computer software and has an interest in computers, Monty Python and gadgets! The only 'patter of tiny feet' heard in their home is Molly... their cat!
My parents live in a hamlet called Tythecott, about 8 miles from my home. They have one cat called Gizmo, a dog called Jess and some fish (in their ponds). They used to keep a gaggle of geese. Rodney the gander became internationally famous for falling in love....with a WATERING CAN!!!
