Adam Michael Greene

My son was born by cesarean section at 9:16PM on March 14th, 2004. He weighed 5 pounds 5 ounces. My husband and I are very proud as you can see in the following pictures.

The doctor told me I had HELLP syndrome and needed a c section right right away, so I posed for my mom before Mike got scrubbed up.

Me and Mike already to go into the operating room. My mom had to wait outside and Mike had to wait outside while I got my spinal injection to numb me up. He said he cold hear me screaming. Yuck, huh?

I couldn't move after the surgery. I was told I had the lowest platelet count most of the doctors and nurses had ever seen. I only got to see my son the following day late in the day.

I was so happy to finally be able to hold my son. I cried when I saw him in that incubator and if you've ever had abdominal surgery before you know how badly it hurts to cry or laugh.

It had a happy ending, I wiped my tears and posed with my favorite little boy.

The nurse took our first family picture.

The following pictures were taken on March 21st. We went next door to my brother's house, our first outing and my dad, stepmom and stepbrother came over, our first visitors.

This is my stepmom, Betty posing with Adam.

This is such a sweet picture of my dad with Adam. They bonded right away.

This is Adam with Aunt Erika. Adam was in mid yawn.

I'm holding Adam over the table and my dad stood behind me and snapped a picture.

Here we are posing as the Greene family.

And another a little closer up.

These pictures were taken on Easter Day; March 11th, 2004.

This is my stepsister, Shara, feeding Adam. She's a natural, wouldn't you say?

This is my stepbrother, Teddy, sleeping on the couch after dinner.

This is my dad's mother, known as my Nana holding Adam. We practically had to pry Adam from her hands when we left that day.

Here I am holding Adam. We were trying to get him to smile.

Adam and Me.

Adam with me, his mommy.

And here's Adam Michael posing.

On June 17th, we decided to take a trip to Canada and took a few picture there, so here they are.

Mike's mom greeted us at the driveway and was the first to hold Adam.

Adam has a blast on his first roadtrip!

Adam likes to sleep with his eyes open sometimes.

Adam is laughing at Grandma's boyfriend, Steve.

Lucius is Mike's cousin's son and he's bouncing Adam.

For the family get togeher we played horshoes. Seen here from left to right is Steve, Robbie (Mike's cousin), Tina(Robbie's g/f), Lucius (their son), and Matt (Robbie's buddy)

Steve and Robbie here.

Mike of course had to go fishing while he was home and Kyle was the only one to catch something. A bass seen here.

Mike relaxes at his mom's place with Adam.

Adam giggling.

For part of the time we went to Mike's dad's place near Kingston, Ontario. This is Adam with Mike's dad.

I finally was able to meet Mike's grandparents (Mike's dad's parents).

This is Mike's dad's fiance, Karen.

This is Terry and Linda, friends of Mike's dad's.

This is Adam with his great grandma.

These are the three generations. Mike, his dad, and his grandpa holding Adam.

Adam started to get fussy at Mike's dad's place so Mike held him where he fell asleep and as you can see he's dreaming of me.

Adam takes a nap at Grandpa's house.

The following pictures were Adam's first July 1st. You'll also notice we posed with a Canadian flag. Believe it or not, I don't have an American flag so we used the Canadian flag as our prop for Independence Day 2004!

Adam being patriotic.

Adam singing.

Me and Adam posing for the 4th of July!

Adam's first sparkler.

This is Adam on Daddy's lap with an attitude.

Adam tried some solids for the first time on Monday July 12th and he's showing promise already at the computer...heehee

Adam's first solid food, soupy oatmeal.

Adam getting burped by Daddy.

Adam's first taste of baby cereal, yummy rice.

Adam in his highchair with some breakfast. Highchair was from Grandpa.

A computer nerd: in his blood.

Adam, making himself at home on mommy's computer.

Okay here's a few miscellaneous pictures taken around 5 to 6 months old.

My beautiful sister, Alicia came to visit the family from California. Adam loved her at first sight!

Adam just loves his Daddy (and of course that cute little yellow number I had him wearing).

Can you tell he's teething? Is the resemblence starting to show?

Don't you wish you could be a baby for a while?

This swing was a present from Adam's Aunt Lish and Uncle Corey; as you can see, he finds it very relaxing.

I brought him home from his Grandad's and when I brought him in I looked in his carseat and found this. I had no idea he would keep getting cuter!

Well I've finally run out of space. These are the last pictures I can put on Geocities; they are of Adam at 6 months old.

Mike works 3rd shift and came home from work one morning to see Adam and I asleep on the futon.

Adam is so proud of his Jolly Jumper! And his Tigger PJ's!

I got confused! I didn't know where to put the diaper!

He will sit in this Jumper for 3 to 4 hours and jump with few breaks! To all moms of 6 months olds: BUY ONE!!!!

"Dadda" is Adam's first word! Go figure.

My son can put his whole hand in his mouth!

While I was shooting pictures of Adam, our cat, Styx, snuck outside to pose for the camera,!

Around the time Mike took the picture of Styx I got this picture of Adam with the morning sun on his face. He loves to sit outside with Mummy and her coffee in the morning :)

This is Brynn, my best friend, Brooke's youngest little girl. Isn't she a doll?! She really loved Adam a lot.

Adam is sitting in his Jolly Jumper here doing one of his looks.

Isn't this the perfect bib? Not yet? Check the next two.

He is so proud of himself!

Full tummy; enough dining!

There are so many moments like this one, some where they're both sleeping, but I can't always catch them on camera, sorry.

This is Adam with his Grandma, Mike's mom. They came down from Canada to help us move. See the Updates Page fore more info.

This is Adam's Uncle Kyle and his quite photogenic and the sweetest thing in the world girlfriend, Aunt Beckyee. Nice name, too!
