I'm a Freshman student at Victoria High School in a small Texas town. Right now I'm one the top five people in my class and hoping to go some where after that.
I love history, mythology, and most of all . . . Writting! Bet you couldn't guess I'd say that! Writting has always been a joy of mine and in the last six monthes I've been diving deep into my work. Writting for at least an hour day. It's a great way to escape life and express all the joys and the worries that tend to control my body and mind.
I'm constantly looking for and entering contests and publishing opportunites that come my way. As of right now, I've an article published in a small comic book for teenage girls. It's the first thing that I've ever published in real print work and I'm pretty proud of it.
I guess you could call me an ambitious person. If there's something out there I really want, I'll try my hardest to get it. Right now, the most trying thing in my life, is trying to get a writting club started at my school. Most administrators and teachers at my high school believe that having a creative writting class is enough to satisfy. It's not. I don't have enough space in my school schedule to take that class. Besides, a creative writting class just isn't the same as a critique circle. Hopefully, next year I'll find a school sponser for that little indevor.
Personally, I'd call myself an introverted extrovert and a pesimistic optimist. A contradiction in terms. I'm totally up and down.
Some one once told me that I think "differently" than everyone around me. I took that as a compliment.
