All administration & day to day running of the studios is divided into areas of responsibility, Jobs are allotted accordingly, selection is decided through willingness, aptitude and interest. There is a rotation of Jobs to encourage an understanding of the structure of Red Herring. None of the administration or daily running jobs are paid positions.

Constitution

Red Herring members have set up a managing body, Foxonfield Ltd which is constituted as a non profit-making Industrial & provident society (I.P.S.).

Funding

Red Herring is funded entirely from its income from studio rental. In the past Red Herring has sought and received funding for specific projects and other artistic activities. Our constitution enables us to compete in a commercial environment because it attracts discretionary rates relief, which Hove Borough Council grants us.
